About the job:

Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Brussels, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities such as the NATO Headquarters and International and Military Staff. CSU Brussels enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Technician (User Access Management) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

•    Logical Access Management (User accounts and groups, etc.) and user group account management on various networks, primarily in Active Directory (including, but not limited to, account creation, deletion and modification);
•    Creation and maintenance of personal and group mailboxes, including distribution lists;
•    Implement and maintain access control configurations on file shares;
•    Troubleshooting of user account related incidents, such as permissions and password problems;
•    Troubleshooting of file share access related incidents;
•    Document processes and procedures;
•    Monitoring of end-user support quality resulting in proposals to improve service quality;
•    Group policy management;
•    Monitoring and resolving incidents and service requests from BMC Remedy (ticketing system);
•    Supports Identity management processes.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

•    Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 1 year post-related experience. Or, a secondary educational qualification with 3 years post-related experience;
•    Experience with the support, implementation and management of:
      o    MS Active Directory Administration;
      o    Software Virtualization Solutions (e.g. Microsoft AppV);
      o    Microsoft Group Policy Management;
      o    Microsoft SCCM;
      o    Software Packaging & Deployment solutions.
•    Very good knowledge and experience with operation and maintenance of modern advanced heterogeneous and virtualized ICT technology;
•    Good experience with troubleshooting and providing end users' support;
•    Knowledge of current versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems in a large scale LAN-based client-server environment using Active Directory Services;
•    Current knowledge and recent practical experience of managing and operating a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI);
•    Very good awareness of security aspects and know how to implement security policies, with a good understanding and knowledge of systems usability; 
•    Good knowledge of mainstream hypervisors;
•    Very good awareness of security aspects and their technical implementation;
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
